Our story
From the British Camp team:
“We established British Camp Supports in 2022. Being a children’s educational project, we have a keen understanding of the vulnerability faced by children and adolescents. Therefore, our focus has been directed towards addressing the basic needs of children affected by the war.
We have successfully addressed 1,650 requests for assistance, providing psychological support, reconstructing destroyed houses in the Kyiv region (Bucha, Irpin), supplying stationery and food kits to families whose parents lost their jobs, and arranging free summer camps for children from frontline regions and those who lost their parents in the war.
Over the past two years, we have witnessed the impact of taking small steps towards progress. Hence, we have set an ambitious new goal for 2024: to restore access to education and rebuild schools, enabling schoolchildren to fully engage in learning and socializing offline, despite the ongoing realities of war. We are immensely grateful to everyone who is supporting us in carrying out this crucial mission”.
During our existence as part of the British Camp Supports project, we have implemented:
raised for assistance
requests for help completed
allocated from the profits of British Camp to the support project
partnerships
We are joining the project of rebuilding the Central School of the Mykolaiv region in Ukraine together with International Charitable Foundation SavED!
- The village of Tsentralne is isolated from other civilian settlements, with all nearby areas having been destroyed by shelling. The only option for children from this and neighboring villages to receive an education is through remote learning, as attending the Central School in person is currently not feasible.
- Therefore, in order to restore children’s access to quality education, offline learning, and socialization, we are participating in fundraising efforts for the construction and setup of shelters.
- The total amount, including repair work and furniture, will be approximately €116,000.
- From our end, we plan to raise €24,000.
- As of early December, €13,7K have been donated from the activities of British Camp.
A small part of the projects implemented by us:
-
01. The “Rebuilding” project

Within the framework of our efforts, we fundraised €9,235 and, in collaboration with the Charity Fund
“Save Home”, rebuilt a roof for a family in the village of Ozera (Buchansky district, Kyiv region), which was damaged by an enemy projectile. -
02. “To Act” mini-project

During the active hostilities, the children’s room of the Musiev family in Irpin was struck by shrapnel from a projectile. We assisted in repairing and furnishing the room as part of our initiative.
-
03. Charity Camps for Children

In the summer of 2023, British Camp, in cooperation with the support project and its partners, organized three charity events for 92 children who are under the care of British Camp Supports, the Charity Fund “Children of Heroes”, the Charity Fund “Future of Ukraine”, and the Charity Fund “Kids of Ukraine”.
-
04. Preparation for school

130 sets of stationery for school studies were distributed to the beneficiaries of British Camp Supports.
