Why specifically the edutainment concept? And what makes it unique?
Well, if you look closer at this word, you may already find the answer to the question. Edutainment is education + entertainment. Thus, while creating our lessons, we pay a great deal of attention to this combination in order to create an environment where learning becomes an enjoyable experience.
How do you implement it in the camp?
During our lessons, we use different role-plays to make speaking a comfortable experience rather than a scary one. We also use gamification, providing rewards to campers for completing different tasks, leveling up, etc. Additionally, we implement various audiovisual materials such as songs or videos in which animated characters explain the material in an engaging way.
How do campers react to edutainment in the camp?
The best reaction to edutainment is campers’ interest in the topic and desire to learn. That’s how we evaluate its efficiency.

Actually, I love all of them and can’t choose just one. However, I particularly enjoy when campers create different projects on the topics they have learned and present them to camp heroes. This is how they put their knowledge into practice in a fun and engaging way, learn to work in a team, break all possible barriers, and be totally creative.
