What to Bring to Camp?

The sessions at British Camp have started! Here’s what campers usually bring with them 👇

First rule – don’t forget your passport!

Pocket money will also come in handy! At the camp, campers can purchase souvenirs from the Camp Store or pay for laundry services if necessary.

P.S. The amount of pocket money is usually chosen at parents’ discretion.

It’s summer outside, and summer always means scorching sun. So, a hat, SPF sunscreen, and sunglasses are a must-have for the sessions!

We prepare an action-packed holiday program for campers with various activities, including swimming. Campers love water fun, so make sure to bring a swimsuit/trunks and pool shoes.

Besides swimming, we engage in other sports at the camp, so comfortable sneakers and a few sets of sportswear are definitely needed.

By the way, evening gatherings around the campfire with marshmallows are one of our favorite rituals with campers. Evenings can be cool, so make sure your camper’s suitcase has room for warm clothes (sweater, hoodie, or jumper), a light windbreaker, and a raincoat. Also, don’t forget festive attire for themed parties and discos!

And  the basics! Hygiene and personal items that we recommend not to forget:

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste (if there are braces, bring everything needed for their care);
  • Adapter for charging gadgets;
  • Favorite cup for the room;
  • Personal towel for the shower;
  • Moisturizing hand cream (reminder, it’s summer and moisturizing is more important than ever) and insect repellent cream (please, no aerosols);
  • Shampoo and comb (if the child has long hair, a hair dryer would be good to bring too).

And now, what you definitely WON’T need:

We always care about the health and safety of campers, so bringing food and drinks is not necessary. We will provide delicious balanced meals and everything else needed ❤️🇬🇧

So, if a camper wants to drink tea, there’s no need to bring a kettle (or other electronic devices). Also, leave bed linen, valuable tech, transportation means, and jewelry at home.

We hope this checklist helps you pack your child for camp without forgetting anything!

Now all that’s left is to choose the best location for summer holidays and book a session at British Camp ❤️🇬🇧

And see you at the sessions!
